Stanley no.5 Type 17 (369)

Japanning is shot and could use a new paint job. Its a WWII era plane made from 1933-1941, this specific plane is a rare type of the type 17 planes as it features no rear from adjustment screw. It does have a nice heavy casting, hard rubber depth wheel and the handles were originally painted black at one point.

All tools have only been cleaned and de-rusted to the point where the buyer can see the true condition and potential of the plane. They have not been tuned nor sharpened unless stated otherwise.
