Stanley no.4 Type 16 (1933-1941)
This thing will smooth the shit out of some wood once you sharpen the blade up and get her cuttin'. The rear tote- its got some strange crack or defect, or it may just be a scratch in the wood, if it's any of the above then its the the most remarkably repaired rear tote I have ever witnessed. It's still solid as can be, maintains the original lacquer finish and your paws wrapped around it won't detect anything wrong it.
All hand planes have only been cleaned and de-rusted to the point where the buyer can see the true condition and potential of the plane. They have not been tuned nor sharpened unless stated otherwise.
